Artist's Description
This was an April 2018 hiking trip to Hanging Lake in Colorado. It was still pretty cold for the season; the snow was clinging to the trees and rocks but the color of spring was already coming in. The mountain was vibrant with bright colors splashed everywhere you look. The hike was short but steep. Beautiful path upward and the lake itself looked like it wasn’t real with it’s surreal color.
