I wrote this brief poem years ago. Contemplating...that my life goes exactly where I direct it. Success or failure, it's because of what I choose. The realization was empowering.
Life happens, what we do...it's a choice.
Who we are, it's not what we were raised to be or what our parents choices were.
We choose the doors we walk through.
And the ones we walk away from.
I have two versions of this, the original brief poem and an expounded one.
"Take a dive into my curious mind." Angelina is a Chicagoland native. She credits her military experience for her love of cultural diversity and inclination to explore, which is reflected in her uncommon mixed media art. Her portfolio speaks for itself with dynamic digitals, exploratory acrylics, and nature photography that celebrates her inner free spirit.
