Denver, brimming with life and commerce. There is an interesting balance in this city, the midnight tokers and the businessman walking up and down the streets. Metal, and trees...a balance that still retains nature.
These bricks are in front of the capital building.
"Take a dive into my curious mind." Angelina is a Chicagoland native. She credits her military experience for her love of cultural diversity and inclination to explore, which is reflected in her uncommon mixed media art. Her portfolio speaks for itself with dynamic digitals, exploratory acrylics, and nature photography that celebrates her inner free spirit. Artful vision has always been a significant part of Angelina's life, but serious focus on her art began in 2007 when she started marketing and exhibiting publicly. She has quickly gained the respect of peers, having established relationships with publishers, authors, print media, designers, as well as retail and decor venues. All work in this gallery is the original work of Angelina...

Beautiful texture, contrast and composition!
Odd Jeppesen
This is so beautiful.
Angelina Tamez replied:
Thank you Odd....=) I was totally sucked into this setting with three different brick designs. It's a stretch for me...but it practically presented it's own composition.
Jeff Breiman
I think the diagonal works because it directs you towards the center. Maybe if the edge of the diagonal line was softer...
Angelina Tamez replied:
Thanks Jeff. I have done a rework to soften the diagonal. =)
Joe Bonita
It may be a work in progress but it looks pretty good to me, Angel. I'd very much like to see the final product. -- Joe.
Angelina Tamez replied:
Thank you Joe! I really appreciate the advice you gave me earlier!
Jeff Breiman
Nice combo Angelina!
Angelina Tamez replied:
Thank you Jeff! It's a work in progress right now. I am trying to decide if the shadows are too distracting. Particularly the top left diagonal line. What do you think?
