I took this picture on a dark and moody day, the type of day when it's hard to wake up and I would much rather stay curled up in my bed with a book. And yet, these little bloomed iris's were singing and I couldn't ignore them.

Thank you Bruce, I had not seen it either. They are tri-color iris's and they are big in person because the bloom spreads on in three directions.
