When I think of February...I think of love and romance. While I was making this painting...I started considering how much our hearts can lead us astray. How even if you love someone...sometimes you cut them, on accident or on purpose. Which evolves into us all bleeding on each other in one form or another.
The photograph does not do the painting justice. In person, it has a lot of metallic and opal shine.
