I can understand why you've kept this original, it's has such an intimate quality about it.

Thank you! Funny you say that...when I was painting it...my son was about the 3rd grade. He looked at it and said "They are naked under those robes." He thought it was intimate too...I got a good laugh out of that. The colors Gustav Klimt used for this painting made the woman fair and blonde, and the man darker with dark hair. I love being able to depict my husband and I in the painting.

Thank you Pete! =D Gustav Klimt actually laid gold and semi precious jewels into his paintings. I settled for crystals and gold paint. ;) I still love that the colors depict me and my husband.
